Voice commands-It just won't work
I am only 2 weeks into owning an F30 328i. It's a nice car and the 2013 comes with so much. I have searched and read through the threads regarding voice commands not working and they all seem to say the same thing: Choose English as your language and voila! It works.
I did this and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions on other settings that may not be right? BTW, the dealer will take care of it when I have time. |

What do you mean they don't work? After you press the voice commands button what do you do next? It works great in mine and I didn't do anything.

Works ok with me but I rarely use it. But mostly I don't remember the exact command ending up in using the menu or use the direct memory presets more quickly. (Also asking politely like "Dear voice command, would you mind turning op the volume slightly" doesn't seem to work either)

Is there a volume setting just for the voice command attendant or whatever you call the voice? |

You can adjust the volume by turning the volume button to the right. Try it right after you press the voice command button and say main menu

Didn't work. If music is playing and you press the voice command button it should stop the music. That's what it does in my E92. It doesn't stop the music so it seems like I just need to take it into the dealer.

Something isn't right... you should get a tone to let you know when to speak after hitting the voice command button. I also get an indicator in the HUD.
