I'm having hard time for the mode to launch with a good grip. Instead it puts off a show and spins the wheels. What's going on here? Launch control is supposed to launch the car at the speediest, grippiest setting.

maybe it's the road surface, temperature, some other factor?

I've used it a handful of times only chirped the tires once or twice.
