I might be moving to CA for good, and would like to know if the car is good for CA emissions or if I would need to have the dealer fix/rework exhaust so it is compliant with CA emissions.

AFAIK everything sold today is 50 state legal. There were only short time periods where CARB made a change and manufacturers struggled to keep up and made a CA-special car. My motorcycle was built in 07 and has cats, and I know some earlier ones that did not were not CARB legal.
