European delivery second payment question

Can anyone confirm that with ED the second payment will be paid by BMW - for lease AND finance?

My friendly dealer told me lease only....just wondering!

Yup, lease only.

yes BMWFS pays the second payment, but your MF is increased by 0.0003.

They do it for lease contracts because your contract is time-based. They're acknowledging the fact that the car will be in transit for a significant amount of time AFTER you've taken delivery so you would in essense be paying for a car that you can't drive. But, as stated above, it's not "free". It's covered in the money factor.
