first check how much its rubbing on the front strut, maybe a spacer can solve the issue if it only a 3 to 5mm clearance you need, secondly check your offset on the front wheel as I have the same wheel and tire, it fits without rubbing, if your offset is wrong then spacer for sure will work, even if you put in a 5mm spacer you would be fine and it should clear the front inside and will be fine with the fender as well, see if this helps

perfect, see how much clearance you need to add spacers, they will be the cheapest way, and the back side of the front wheel says pdf +35 correct, I am sure you already checked that, as the first set of vossens they send me the box specs were correct on the lable, but when I looked at the wheel the offset was actually +45, they shop took them back and got me +35. Just drive to a decent tire shop and ask to use a 3mm spacer and see if it clears first if not try 5mm it should clear. I have the same specs as you and I clear with only about 3mm to spare.

Just throw a spacer on there...easy fix. As long as theres a few mm of clearance, you're fine. 5mm spacer to be safe. That should do the trick. Maybe even roll your fenders at the same time. You may need some fender clearance since you are moving the wheels out a bit.

Did you check the wheel to make sure the stamp says 35? Something is not right because so many of us are running the exact setup and no issues. And again is it both or just one side rubbing? Mistakes do happen in manufacturing and packaging. Possible to get the wrong wheel.

from the photo you posted it appears the tire is too tall. i i think you should have used a 245/30/20.

oem is 225/35/20, diameter of 26.2". 245/35/ is diameter is 26.8". so you're .3" greater radially from center and also wider tire which is why you're rubbing the perch. 245/30/20 has a diamter of 25.8" so it is likely to have cleared.

if i had to guess it appears you need at least a 5mm spacer. you may also need longer lug bolts with that.

I did make sure. They are both stamped 35 and they do both rub.

This is very strange. I wonder if manufacturing made a mistake and not really 35 offset. OR... I wonder if the EVO V2 are different than the original EVOs? I still have the original EVOs on the front, but EVO v2 on the rear since I had to replace them ahead of the fronts. Tires will vary slightly from brand to brand, model to model. The EVO v2 on the rear (275/30) do seem to have a slightly narrower/smaller sidewall than the EVO v1 I had because after I put them on I was able to drop it lower with no rub by quarter inch. It could be very possible the 245/35 are slightly larger in the EVO v2 over the EVO v1??

I know this is not helping, but just trying to wrap my head around it because so many run this identical setup including myself. It can only be two things.

1. The wheels are not a true 35 and there was a error in production. Whether during CNC or a worker mislabeled.
2. The tire is slightly larger than the original EVO.

ANYONE else running 245/35 EVO v2 on the fronts?

The 245/30 would do the trick as pointed out above. I would do that before a spacer personally unless you roll the fenders which can cause a whole new issue if you have a guy that doesn't know what he is doing and ends up cracking the paint or worst cause the metal to ripple. Chances are Tire Rack will not take them back, but never hurts to ask. I would imagine putting them up on Craiglist or your local Nissan or BMW club FB page they should sell rather quickly with little to no loss.

yesterday I ended up realizing I need to change all 4 tires if I want to drop it an inch. right now it's stock and with the evo2's on the back 275/30/20 I can't drop it an inch without hitting the fender. on the back I'm going to do 275/25/20 and on the front 235/30/20. maybe going with toyos.

There must not be any potholes where you live. If I dropped that on my 335 I'd probably pop the tire up through the fender with that little bit of clearance.

Even without adding camber you should be fine with an inch drop. Not sure how far I am down from stock, but I have over half the tire tucked. I added -1.2 degrees of camber with the EVO v2 on the rears in 275/30 and never rubs even on massive dips. No BS.

Getting thin on the side walls for my comfort. Toyos are one of those known to run slightly narrower like Nitto does as well than the spec. You def shouldn't rub with those specs. If so, then something is off on the wheel specs.

This is how mine sits now with 245/35 (20x9 ET35), 275/30 (20x10.5 ET45). Only rubbing is on the front bumper knuckle on big bumps that just needs to be shaved a little. Rear no rub. Completely stumped with your situation.

Do you have my exact tires as well? This is wild.

I'm only dropping an inch from stock. Maybe a tiny bit more if I can make it. I go to school in Alabama and there are pot holes EVERYWHERE. Real bad roads. But I have no choice but to get those tires because its the only tire size that will allow me to drop an inch without rubbing. Something weird is going on with my car...

Good luck. I hit this crater on a dark rainy night (no barrel present) and it bent my strut. That this was 5'Lx4'Wx8"D.
