Airflow requirement increases with engine RPM, so it's at high RPM where I would expect improvements from a high-flow system. This is why I'm so dubious of these claims and in particular of the dyno graphs that show gains throughout the range.

What is the theory behind the gains at low RPM's when significantly less airflow is required?

Did you flash with the intake? Who tuned your evo out of curiousity. I cant speak much to the intake - my first mods were a full turbo back setup with a tune. I got an intake system when i did the whole e85 shabang.

I know it does NOTHING, but since I was already placing an order with **********s I threw in the "intake scoop" for an extra $38 lol.

How do you know this? Did you take your car to the dealer after having the JB installed and ask them to check for codes? If not, then are you basing this assertion on anything other than JB's marketing materials?

I thought you were referring to warning lights turning on in the car. If your so scared of your dealer finding out you have mods on your car then don't mod.

So I Installed the intake for about a month now and I notice that I can only hear a difference when I'm in sports mode. In comfort and Eco mode there is almost no difference compared to stock. Only in sport mode will I hear the turbo swooosshhhhh.

Got it at a very good price that is the only reason why I bought it. I don't know if it's me being negative but I kinda feel that the car lost a little oumf at take off.
The intake does make the engine sound is little different especially in sport mode while driving and make the engine bay look nicer.

So is it worst the asking price, in my opinion NO but if you got money to blow or you can get it at a reduced price then why not.

No CEL and if its maf sensor then its either not sealed or tighten properly where the maf sensor sits or the sensor is damaged from the switch.

Agreed, unless in Sport mode, otherwise there is no sound difference at all.

I also did notice take off is not as punchy as it used to be, thinking about getting M performance exhaust, maybe that will make it better?
