Deal on a 2012 328
Hello,
I am looking to purchase this 2012 328: http://www.alexanderbmw.com/new/BMW/...5b9f11162.htm# The car is heavily optioned and is close to what im looking for. It seems that this car has been sitting on the lot for quite some time now which should mean that the dealer will be willing to strike a deal. my question is, what sort of a deal should i expect on this car? i have seen discounts vary from $2k all the way up to $6k and more. Furthermore, have there been any significant changes to the 2013s? i thank you all in advance for your 2 cents |

Post Nov. 2012 Productions seems to be rid of rusty seat frame, vibration on steering and excessive wind noises. I am not stating the date with absolute certainty. But be advised to check for the above common problems.

Leftover '12, highly optioned. I would not pay more than $42k. Every '12 I have driven seems to have more road/wind noise. Through continuous improvement in manufacturing, there is likely a slight build quality difference from first year cars to second. This may not be reflected even in part numbers, just in how the car is being assembled at each station.

If it was a post Nov. build, it would be a 2013.

Some 2012 model year individual options went into the packages for 2013 model year which resulted in some savings. Therefore a loaded 2013 MSRP can be less than the same loaded 2012 MSRP. You should also consider this. Even though you pay less at the beginning resale value will be lower than 2013. 2012 MY is the first model year so more chance of issues.
Is it the exact color combo you want? Do you really want all those options. If not then probably you can get a 2013 with one less option for the smilar price and the color you want. You will enjoy more that way.

Actually that is the reason I said it can be less, I am not usre 100% but depending on the options it may be less IMO. I believe they also included more standart options with price increase.

Did you end up making the purchase?
I am looking at a 2012 328i, 6K miles, Premium, Tech, Parking Packages for $37K asking price. Wondering what price I should offer. $30K? |
