Coding NBT HU to HiFi

I have the base NBT HU without tweeters or amp and have upgraded the front speakers to the Focal IFBMW-S with tweeters.
I'm looking to code the HU to HiFi to flatten the EQ. Does this change the HU output to low level as I am not planning to install an amp.
Will this cause problems driving the speakers? Or can you code the EQ without affecting the power output?

You answered your own question: coding from high (speaker) to low (pre-amp) level will do just that, change the output level.

What would you suggest? Is there any way around this without having to add a amp?

You have to add an amp.
