Anyone ordered 2014 F30 m performance edition?

Can anyone who has picked up their vehicle let me know what phone dock is installed in the center armrest?

Time to upgrade the phone along with the car.

no phone dock at all. you need to pick what you want. there is no support for iphone 5 yet. only the older connection.

I thought the bmw connected apps option was inclusive in the m performance package?

The way it was explained to me on delivery is that the port is there and there is a cover over it. Them you need to BUY separately the connection piece that supports YOUR phone model. And if you are looking for iPhone 5 it does not exist yet. So yes the connection is there but the phone specific cradle is sold separately, IF they have the one for your phone.

Am I the only one that took delivery of the car already? I have had mine since last night. Anyone else driving around in this beast?

And it IS a beast. I have yet to floor it. IT is quite powerful and sounds very delicious.

I should get some photos soon.

Since these cars came so late it's almost winter.

Only a couple of weeks or so on these awesome 20s. Has anyone considered winter wheels and rims for this car yet? Not much time.

I ordered a set of 18" M Wheels Style 400M with Pirelli Winter Sottozero2 225/45R18 95V RTF from the BMW dealership.

These wheels are the actual normal set that comes with this car if it was not ramped up to the 20s.

I've been completely swamped this week, so I might take delivery on Tuesday. Glad you're enjoying the new ride as I too can't wait to see what this car can deliver.

I bet I have an option that you probably don't......dual high performance child seats!

Yes that option you can keep! Too much extra weight.

Nice. It has both and you can't even tell. I guess that is some great 3m clear bra they applied.

Also has legal limit 35% tint. I guess it's not very noticeable either.

Is that the dreaded BMW swirl starting in the rear quarter panel? My black 335 from Parkview was so bad i got it fixed at Autobahn and they (Parkview ) paid.

Swirls in the paint. Like hologram. Parkview machine waxes some of their cars as they go out. Mine was BRUTAL. Looks like hologram in th esun with a little dust on it. Looks like yours on back right corner. Check your hood in the sun late in the day. Cool car.

I was actually told never to get it washed there cause they will f^%$ it up.

Someone must be right, but the car looks ok now. They only washed it for delivery i assume.

Anyone else take delivery yet this week? Am I the only one with one of these OTR right now still?

I let them wash it everytime I went in. It was on delivery that it was messed up. Only visible under certain late day light conditions but it was bad. I'm sure they are much better now.
