M Sport $3750?
Seems pretty expensive for what it is, anyone know if that amount is accurate for the US?
Being that the 5 series M Sport cost $4800, doesn't seem too far off? Although the X3 M Sport only cost $3000. If M Sport cost $3750, leaning more and more toward the F80 M3 instead... |

That's no different than current E90 pricing. So it shouldn't be a big surprise.

Price doesn't seem bad. The M Sport Package for the Z4 28i is $3900 ($3500 for the 35i).

I would assume so. I look at it as 328/335 + "M-Sport Package".

I thought the M Sport package would have two different prices? One for the 328i and the other for the 335i.
Obviously the 328i M Sport package would be slightly higher than for the 335i? I don't know, just a guess!!! :

Sooo... where'd you hear this pricing? I haven't heard mention of it before. I true, at that price it's a safe bet that the big blue brakes are NOT included.

Going by that, figure $1200 over Sport Line on F30. My Guesstimate:

Correct.
It's just another option package. I think pricing will be the same for 328/335, and about $3750 over "base" line. It's currently the same price for both models and we already know ZMP will offer the same equipment for the 328 as the 335. Doesn't seem like there is any opportunity to adjust the pricing between 328/335. Just my own speculation of course. In the end, you wille do as BMW says.

BTW, I just put in my order for 335i Sport.
Since M-Sport is cosmetic, except for staggered tires, AFAIK, decided I would rather have my first color choice which is not available in M-Sport (Imperial Blue) and interior color that was not black or red (Everest Gray). The lack of interior colors was the biggest issue for me. |

As well as enhanced cooling, larger anti-roll bars, firmer suspension, firmer dampers, .04 inch lower, and possibly M-Sport brakes included. So no, not just cosmetic.

No way will M-Sport brakes be included at that price. I don't track my car, it's just a DD so, if included for more $, would give me less incentive to get it.
Also am not convinced the suspension will be any different than what is already in the Sport Line. Option 704 that comes with US Sport Line is called the M-Sport suspension in the German catalog. It includes the same 10mm lowering too. I will be this first to admit if I am wrong when details are known, but M-Sport looks to be "mostly" cosmetic, just like it is on F10. Either way, I am happy with my decision. The differences you indicated would be don't care or minor to me and just don't want all black or red leather. |

It's because the 328i base comes with 17 inch wheels and the 335i base comes with 335i base comes with 18 inch wheels. All the lines come standard with 18 inch wheels so it's a step up for the 328i but not the 335i.

3750$ is realy cheap for M-sport, if you compare it to here in Sweden M-sport costs approximately 5000$ for the 1 series F20. In Germany 3700 EUR.

I do not think it's going to be another "package" at all. I thought it was going to be a 4th "line". The "line" concept is more encompassing than just a package and will also include interior differences as well as all those suspension/handling differences. I thought the insiders thought the m sport brakes would be included, which would lead me to believe that it would be like a $4000 option on the 335i and maybe a $4800-5000 option on the 328i. But that's pure speculation.
