B48 F30 320i - Stage 1 Bm3 Data Logs

Hey team,

I have the B48 F30 320i and recently tuned to stage 1 91 Octane Bm3.
I run 98 RON fuel, but sometimes can only get 95 RON fuel from some pumps.

After tuning I found that I had some engine knocks and since I am new to this I am not sure whether it is a bad sign or not.

I could use some help in reading these data logs, could anyone please have a look through the logs and let me know whether there is something odd/wrong in how my engine is reading after the tune (doesn't have to just be knocks detected). Also any input/feedback on whether I should be worried about those knocks and why they may be happening?

Appreciate all the input and advice I can get on this.

See below for links to the data logs:

Don't really see anything out of the ordinary with those knock events. These ECU uses the knock sensor to adjust timing to maximize efficiency and power while taking into account changes in octane, temperature, load, etc. The ECU will always ride this fine line and in the case of bootmod3 tunes, you ride that "line" even closer.

Right that makes sense. Is there anything else in the logs that you’ve seen and I should be worried/concerned about. Or is the tune behaving in a “healthy” manner with my engine?

Also would my stock engine have had knocks as well? Seeing that the ecu adjusts for them?

Is there anything I can do to reduce the knocks?

Thanks once again for your help on this.
