Parts selection
Hey guys,
I am trying to work out a parts list for my 2014 335i. I plan on running either a MHD or BM3 stage 2 eventually which will hopefully get the car to low 400's HP. I want quality parts but dont plan on tracking the car so they dont need to be the absolute best. After looking through a few posts i was thinking -6" VRSF race FMIC and CP ( for price these seem to get great reviews ) -wagner catted DP ( Having never smelt a catless DP i am just assuming its best to choose catted) -Remus axle back I was looking at the ER combo deal on on the fmic/CP form x-ph as i like the black option but it still works out a few hundred cheaper with vrsf. It does get about 100F where i am throughout summer . Any input with be good whether there is other combo options or if what i am thinking is a good choice. Thanks in advance. |

I don't know what the best parts are so to speak. They all seem to be the same. A dp is a metal pipe so just about anyone that fits will work the same. So go cheap. I didn't vrsf dp. Intake is a waste of money. Exhaust doesn't add power so if you getting one for sound that's fine. The fmic is a debatable subject. Some say the cheap ones work just as good as the expensive ones. I went wth an expensive one Bc I wanted a small one that fit nicely yet still cooled. I went with the Wagner evo1. I think tunes are the same between bm3 and mhd. Bm3 has the best customer service while mhd is cheaper.
I think u will make 350-375 with this setup. It will be quick but it's a heavy car so it won't be amazing. They are sick 0-60 though if u have x drive. Oh yeah get the ER chargepipe. It's worth the money |

ER charge pipe is a great mod..
ER catted or Wagner catted are both high quality downpipes.. Both are 200CEL I believe.. Throw an intake in there as well.. You should be in the high 380-390 range.. Really depends on how hard you push the tuning.. Mike |

Great mod list. You will be happy with that. You might scratch the 400hp club surface with a custom tune, 93 octane + E85 thrown in.
