Don't know if it's good or bad, but all the BMW sedans are starting to look the same - just different sizes - 3, 5, 7...
Except for the orange blinkers in the mirrors and the shape of the mirrors, I kinda like it. I love the new 5 & 7 so I guess I'm not surprised... |

OP has come close to following the traditional design that BMW might be planning for the F30. But then again, if they launch this a couple of years after the F10, and still keep same design scheme, it will be taking the 7 design way too far.
With new design innovations and competition from AUDI, this would not make the bread and butter car of BMW a clear choice for most buyers. Good rendering, not technically, but to bring out a smaller 5er which the new 3er might just turn out to be. Hooydonk needs to prove us all wrong Honestly, I am not very impressed by the F10 exterior design wise. Oh well, those middle size sedans ain't easy to design, nobody else have matched or surpassed BMW quite yet in that price/size segment in exterior design. Maybe I am just forgetting the Jags |

The new 3er inherits the new trend from the incoming X3 and forthcoming 6er by using more sharper design elements to distance itself from the 5er and 7er.
The overall look is of a typical BMW sedan but the design elements make it more interesting. |
