Still plan on getting aftermarket shocks. I'm mostly on the 70 and 710 and surrounding areas. The roads are fine but the aftermarket shocks should still help eliminate most of the bouncy ness after a hard bump on the freeway. It will just improve handling so why not. They don't seem to be too pricey either so it's a good investment in a car I plan to keep for 5 years or so.

Oh, if it's a lease don't worry about the shocks at all bro. That's more if you want to keep the car. Although the dealer may be jerks and complain that you damaged the life of the shocks by lowering it. Just don't mention it to them

thanks man that's good to hear. Just got back from my dealer and I asked them if they are OK with modded cars being brought into service (I did mention springs and tune) and they said that the are the "house of modded M cars" and that they were very mod friendly, very happy to hear that

And no problem with super sports? That is awesome news! I'm looking to go with regular sports and have read about bump stops and trimming and all that kind of crap.

I already have Bilstein B8 shocks on my car with standard Msport Springs, but the shocks actually raised the right height and it looks like an xi or something now, LOL.

Lol! Ouch! Yeah, can't have that. I love my super sports, just low enough to look good and handle well. I think the regular sport springs would of left too much of a gap for me.

~ I think a 19" gives the car the correct look. I have the same 18" wheels and they always look smaller in size once lowered.

OP, so you intend to get spacers for now until you get new wheels?

Yes. I'm trying to decide on spacers size right now to add on to get a more flush look till I get my wheels. Spacers are always a cheap mod that make a big difference

And Andrew, yes 19's seem to be the right size for the car. I just hate that odd tire size. Makes me just want to do 20's or stay with 18's.

If you are on stock wheels it seems the most common spacers are 10mm f/13 or 15mm r.

Yup, stock wheels. The only thing is since I have the super sport springs I'm not sure if I'll rub with those spacers
