It is a no-lines stock f30 with a PPK on the way. What would you do with the next $3000 to the car? Higher priority is to increase performance rather than looks (as I already like the looks a lot )

I have a few thoughts:
1. Summer performance tires
2. Better steering wheel
3. Suspension
4. Brakes
5. Wider wheels
6. .....

Yeah, they are all looking close...maybe take out the wider wheels and change that to lighter wheels!

No lines? Wheels a must for performance and looks, a nice set of reps or some used M Sport take offs and then Suspension.... best two things i did to my 328i no lines last year. Had my heart set on MPerf Susp but it would break the bank... Approx $2500-$3000 with parts and labor so I went with H&R on stock springs for now at $600 with labor it was the best economical choice.

kw v1 and v2 are pretty good choice. having H&R springs could shorten the life of the coil-over.

Apex Arc 8 are a good looking rim and only weigh about a dime nickel each.

They can be head for relatively cheap, with plenty of money left over for summer times which will do wonders.
Maybe consider a stagger? Idk

Not like I know what I'm talking about, but I would say #1 and #3.

Well, you did mentioned about wider wheels so i am just suggesting lighter wheels instead.

Anyways, there are plenty of wheels out there, depending on the style of look u like. I would start off with www.tirerack.com site first.

I would recommend the M-Adap. Susp. / VSS option from the factory be added ASAP, then go for a set of decent rep wheels and good summers. A good brake upgrade is gonna be pricy.

It's not going to give you any huge power gains, but I could not live without the M Performance Exhaust after having experienced it.

The improved sound is a welcome upgrade. At the same time, it is by no means intrusive. The M Performance unit strikes a perfect balance for me.

Pros:

- The thin, chrome-plated tips with the laser-engraved ///M logo look sharp.

- The larger diameter, 80mm tips look considerably more aggressive than the stock tips.

- Little to no drone when cruising at highway speeds.

- The exhaust's presence can be heard in every driving mode - from EcoPro to Sport+.

- Exhaust backpressure is reduced.

- It only costs $975 if you do your part in negotiating.

- Overrun "pop" becomes much more aggressive.

Cons:

- None for me considering what I want out of an upgraded exhaust for a daily driver.

interesting... I was actually thinking of the MPE too, especially wondering what would be the final effect of combining the PPK with the MPE. I would like to believe that car with the tune would benefit more from the MPE compared to the car without the tune in terms of increasing the overall appeal of the MPE.

I know the MPE is more about the sound but, in terms of HP gains, would you expect even 5 HP gains from the MPE (especially coupled with the PPK) ?

I have the same question, except I think I will cap myself at $5,000. So I am thinking:

1. M Performance Suspension
2. M Performance Power Kit
3. 19" Wheels (mine is coming with stock 18" M400)

Thoughts?

Uh... the opportunity for adding the M-Adap Suspension and the VSS were both lost when I ordered the car 7 months back I know it was a bad decision but no point regretting it now

Don't worry about it. I have it and it's great but you can get the M Performance Suspension which is great too. Also the MPE is for sound only trust me I have it. The stock exhaust is just to well designed. If you want power downpipe and JB4.

Actually, I think that would be a very fair assessment.

I did not because I found the sport seats too tight and it numbed my thighs. Moreover I thought the m sport was mainly about looks rather than perf. However just the steering wheel and the staggered wheels would have made it worth it.

MPE + Downpipe gives for a much more fun car to drive. I don't even listen to the radio anymore unless I'm on the freeway. The exhaust system just sounds great with no drone in the cabin while cruising and more than enough when you want to get on it. The burble and turbo are much more apparent with the downpipe.

Definitely went from ~28mpg to ~18mpg once I got my downpipe installed.
