What is an acceptable price for brake pads and discs?

As the title suggests, any guidance on what you guys are paying or what you shouldn't be paying for pads and discs, F and R?

Parts and Labor.

Inclined to agree. Although Pads are $260 AUD + Shipping (Get BMW Parts - 328i Brake Pads ).

They probably also machine your disc's by default to get you to quicker to disc replacement (say $75).

So that is still $250 labour, coffee, carwash, smiling faces, possible loaner ....

Perhaps not that outrageous... (if it includes the loaner M3 )

Don't forget the outrageous prices that the dealers charge per hour.
I inquired at Adelaide BMW about some work and was quoted $231/hour.

Who would ever pay $231/hour for a mechanic. Disgusting

Mate, If i was paying that, i would be expecting allot from that hourly rate.

Best tools, best products and a pretty face that can make me a coffee whilst i wait if i choose to.

that said: it is higher than premium price. What would some of the supercar/ultra luxury rates are?
