Preferred Car Wax

Hi all,

What's people preference when it comes to car wax? I've just moved from Turtle Wax Platinum Car Wax to some Collinite 476 and I really liked it compared to the TW, the 476 was easy on and off, compared to the TW which has this white dust crap, it just gets all over the place.

I've read in some posts that 476 is quite durable, so I applied 2 coats on this afternoon.

Anyway be interested in what others are using or even comments on the 476.

476 is good stuff, not the wettest look but very durable.

Raceglaze make some great waxes.

All depends what you want to spend, up to hundreds and thousands for a tiny tub!!

Dang! I've never thought that much about wax. Is sealant just another word for Wax? Or something that goes on top of wax?

I'm happy to spent a reasonable about of money, but like any things ppl will pay crazy amounts of money for poducts. I brought the 476 and some 845 my alloys and very happy with both. Cost wise I'm happy with what I paid and IHMO a step up from the TW products I was using.

Whatever the local Russell Speed wash uses.. For $25 they throw on some Brazilian carnauba. Cheap and done.
I used to use Zymol, but got expensive.

Scholl Concepts A15 - one of the best you can get. Technically a polish, but will give you some good results.
