I was thinking you get the rate at time of signing contracts. I was told that if my car came in too late, it may have been subject to whatever the new rate would have been.

Wow, hope its not dropped to 3.9%, only had the car 2 weeks and the first payments not due out till end of this month. Maybe worth a phone call!?

Dealer (Sytner) told me rate is 4.9% on F31 330d if order confirmed in April. I would be pleased if I could get 3.9% though. No rates / offers seem to be published on the various dealer websites at the moment.

Hi all...new to this forum, but would like to pick the brains of you seasoned users/buyers!
My story is that I have been in a lease deal with my E90 330d m sport which I got new in Sep 10. It's been brilliant until Nov 12...when it all went horribly wrong. Nine times it was recovered with the same electrical fault and finally, when I was left stranded on my wife's birthday last Friday the lease company and BMW UK finally came round to my way of thinking in that the car was not fit for purpose! They officially take it back this coming Friday. So, since Nov 12, I have driven 9 different F30's...from a 320d se manual to a 330d m sport with more toys than Hamleys. (All hire cars provided via BMW whilst they 'fix' my car...) So, now I am without wheels and am looking to get into a 330d m sport via a personal lease deal. (I hope I am correct with this thread being on pcp rates that I am in the right place..) So, my questione to you knowledgeable folks, is simply 'who is currently offering the best personal lease deals'? I have been in touch with probably 10 diff companies (Freedom, Gateway, Synergy etc etc) and all have amazing deals on their websites, but when you get in touch, the costs seem to spiral! If someone can give me some ball parks as to what they are paying (3+35, 15k mpa, 330d m sport prof nav and heated seats pls!) and where the best current deals are, I'd much appreciate it. Then I can get ordered and get back on here posting about how good the car is!! Many thanks all, appreciate any advice you can give me |

That will be the case for sure as rates could have gone up, if the f31 is 3.9% still only costs a phone call and a no never hurts anyone

I'm in same boat, agreed a deal at 4.9% in January, collected car 1st March and first payment not due until 10th April and now I see the rate is 3.9%. It's not a HUGE difference though and I see it as the "total" deal you get anyway (finance, discount, part-ex etc) so I won't be contacting the dealer.

You may be told you got a bigger discount for ordering end of quarter 1 which more than outweighs the lowering of the rate and this is more than likely true as if targets are needing met by quarter end the discount will ramp up to get the deal.
Good deals therefore to be had end of June this year. |

Not sure where this suggested 3.9% APR rate on PCP is coming from? I have looked on quite a few dealers websites now and the only rate I can find is the recently updated one on the main BMW website, indicating 4.9%.
Therefore I don't think there is anything to worry about. Edit: My major error - 3.9% on the saloon and 4.9% on the tourer. Sorry - I was looking at the tourer only which Banksy (OP) has on order Last edited by gadgetboy; 04-04-2013 at 12:21 PM.. Reason: Error in accruracy of post |

I personally much prefer BMW PCP compare to any other lease as you not locked into your contract means you can actually sell the car any time before your time is up and just pay off the finance unlike other leases where you have to complete the time you sign for no matter what. It's handy when you can't afford your lease anymore for whatever reason or just want a different car after a while.

This will be salesman speak no doubt but when the rates temporarily shot up to the default 8% between the old Q4 campaign and the new Q1 2013 rate my dealer assured me that was I to place an order @ 8 and then the rates dropped to 4.9 (as they did) he would be obliged to pass on the rate cut in full. He claimed that it was a BMW rule to stop dealers creaming off the excess between customer and finance house.
Of course he would say that wouldn't he and as it happened it didn't feel right so I waited until the rates actually dropped Shame the f31 rates haven't dropped for q2 as I would have loved to remind him of his words, particularly as my car was supposed to have been delivered in Q1 |

Well quite. It was a bit of salesmanship. Might be something in it though in the sense that BMW FS insist rate cuts are passed on. Doubt you'll get anywhere if finance papers have been signed though
