Is it normal for the 435i to make a heavy clunk when going from D or R to P while at a stand? I also get a bit of a jolt! I've only had the car 3 days.
I've noticed mine does it now and then, I'd expect a bit of a noise as its all under load, but I don't remember the 428i making as much noise when I had it

Me too 2014 328i I don't know why also

Maybe its normal then, I just get paranoid when I hear something I don't like, I only have 60 miles on the clock so it should be okay

I get clunk when breaking slow to stop so spead like 5-0

This. I get the same clunk if i shift it into park before I am completely stopped. That may be it.

And by not completely stopped I mean inching forward just a little bit and throwing it into park a half second too soon. Just have to be more careful
