Hi guys! When I try to randomize my songs with my ipod classic connected to the y cable. And then change to next song, my 335 automatically cancels the random select.

Anyway to keep it on even though you wish to change to next track?

I have 2013 335 xdrive, no NAVI, enhanced bluetooth, or bmw apps.

Any suggestions?

I've tried with iphone 4s, ipod classic and ipod nano 1st gen. No luck.

I have actually never tried this till this morning. I connected my Ipod Nano to the y cable already in shuffle mode. I was able to change to the next track and it stayed in shuffle mode. See if that works.

How are you going to the next song? Is it with the thumb wheel on the steering wheel? Yeah, IIRC that'll cancel the random setting. But when I use the right-arrow button on the right side of the radio, I get a random track next and the random setting stays engaged. (I have button 4 programmed to toggle the Random setting, by the way, for the times it gets cancelled by the car.)

yeah I was using the right arrow button as well.
