1. Never heard a squealing so bad as the one my car makes, I think that the 50k I paid must include the "not squealing option". (Or am I asking too much? Please tell me) 2. You say turn it off, I say why can I don't turn it on instead of off. I do not know how this did not annoyed the engineers at BMW.(probably asking too much) 3. Do not really car about his too much, just wanna know the reason. 4. My 3 year old Garmin is better than the one in the car. A.you saw do not use ( really?is that the answer) B. some say voice command ( I agree but I am Germany, try o pronounce anything) 6. West va was an example, just hate the limited freedom of maneuver. I am pretty sure that there are many places where you cannot find a BMW dealer, run flat tires store with the size you need in a 200 mile radius. Last edited by ELTORO3092; 10-28-2012 at 11:31 AM.. |

328=slightly less power, better mpg 335=slightly less MPG, more power BTW, how did this thread turn in to a 328i vs 335i discussion? |

I like the runflats as well, this is my fifth car with them. Never had a flat, but like knowing I have the capability when traveling 100+mph on the autobahns. |

I personally think that this navigation system is pretty nice compared to the last generation with just a couple route hiccups. My brakes don't squeal. |

This is my second 335i (third 3-series since 2007). Love the car. Not had a problem with #1. #2 was programmed out. #3 solved with a Sportline (if I wanted a real M I would have gotten one). My Garmin is better than anything BMW ever had so #4 is a non-issue. Don't care about apps. I wanna drive my car, not have it be an extension of my iPhone (thus #5 is done). Who cares about a spare? If I get stuck, I sit by the car, enjoy it's beauty and wait for a flatbed. No car is perfect nor will one satisfy everyone....but I'm thrilled with the 3-series.

navigation integration with HUD is a great feature. might not be the best navigation system available, but getting directions through HUD definitely beats stand alone units.

Unfortunately, entering the address, the routing, the information presented, etc. is all inferior to even a basic portable unit. I would be delighted to forgo directional display in the HUD for a quality navigation system which works. |

oneTE=Elk;12906his is a nice aspect of the system.

I think BMW really made the F30 a modern driving ultimate driving machine, since I no longer take my eyes off the road. Try the "enter address" feature on the nav, one a forum member pointed it out to me, I haven't used the idrive since...

through my laptop usually, though my phone would work too. the "more" link from google maps allows you to send to your car. type in your BMW Assist username and it shows up in your office messages. Open the message and you can make it your new destination.

Really...no one has mentioned the steering? My 335i sport floats and there's absolutely no road feedback in the steering wheel. I'm glad I'm leasing... BMW has 3 years to perfect electronic assist steering...or I'm out.

OP, I'm surprised that you didn't put
- Impossible to drive as designed in U.S. in your list. Not trying to raise the post count here, but this is my absolutely FIRST complaint with N55 engine in my car. And it gets more and more aggravating as the time passes. Picked it up at the US dealer mid-July 2010 and it is not getting any better as the time passes. No, I'm not talking Autobahn which exists in only ONE country on Earth, I'm talking about how driving in general in U.S. impedes you to fully use your hard-earned $50,000 on ALL roads.

Extreme? You gotta be kiddin. It's all relative I guess. I'm getting barely any brake dust, although I'm comparing the 335i to the A4 that I had for the past 3 years. Audi definitely takes the cake for being extreme brake dust monsters.

LOL...I come from an Mitsu Evo, where brake dust caked EVERYTHING on my rims. The BMW 335i is tame from my perspective...so tame, in fact, I want to get more extreme, squealing pads..
