You can't keep comparing Audi and BMW. Same segment, yes. Same region, yes. Same quality, materials, designs, engineering? No, no, no, no! I think BMW's higher price is justified. Audi's don't have the same brand loyalty that BMW has built up over the years. There's a reason for that. Audi's sucked. BMW stayed consistent. Audi just now caught up. But to compare the two to me is unjustified. To me they are two different cars. Like others have said, if you wan ta better interior, you may want to upgrade to the 5, 6, or 7 series. The 3-series is more for driving fun than to be used like a limousine. |

It's not really fair is it to compare a top of the line 3 series to a basic 6 series which is also 2 levels higher in BMW's product line than the 3 series. The 6 is a luxury coupe and the 3 is a fairly basic (for BMW) sport sedan.
Regarding pricing, there currently is no 6 series Active Hybrid so lets look at the AH 5 series which starts at $61K. Add $16K in options and you are at $77K and the 5 series is lacking in comparison to the 6 series in terms of trim and luxury. |

What kind of fuel economy are you going to get with the hybrid? The N20 is a very efficient engine, so I am curious about the added bonus. For $65k I would get a 550i, not a 3

Don't want a bigger car. Don't want a slower engine. Want a small car with a fast engine. |
