How does the $1000 un4gettable event credit work?

I just attended the event and they said they would send me an email? I'm applying it towards a car I'm picking up this week. Will they apply it to my downpayment or do I pay the amount up front and they will send me a check or something for $1000.???

It gets applied when you pick up the car. You'll want to talk to your CA to make sure either you or he has the code/credit before taking delivery. I seem to recall my dealer already having a record of the credit for me when I picked up my 335i, so I didn't need to bring the code in with me personally.

I thought the event was just to taunt me because I still have two years on my 328i lease! :-)

Hmmm... My guy told me that I had to attend the event first then I could get the credit...

He originally was holding a 2014 for me (hid the paper work) until the event... then when I said I wanted different option they didnt have in 2014s in stock, I decided to order a 2015... He told me to wait till the event... then he would place the order.

Hopefully your CA does you right..

you sign up for the event (or show up)...and they email you a code.

you show up to the dealership with this code...you negotiate a price....then you knock off $1k for the credit.

Quick question: Can both Un4gettable Drive credit and Ultimate Driving Experience credit be applied (or is it one or the other)?

I've signed up for Ultimate Driving Experience already and then got an invite for the Un4gettable. I've already driven the 4 series, so I don't see a point of going for Un4getabble unless I'm getting an additional $1000 credit (in addition to the one from UDE).

It cannot be used on an ordered car if the order was placed before you attended the event. There are no exceptions to that.

With most BMWs taking 8+ weeks from order date to delivery, has anybody successfully redeemed the Un4gettable discount on an ordered car?

Has anyone's dealer honored the $1000 offer beyond the original expiration date? I know this is not apples to apples but when my ordered Audi was delayed 2 months because of a supplier issue (outside of everyone's control), the Audi dealer agreed to honor a similar test drive event discount even though the original expiration date had passed by the time I took delivery. Do BMW dealers have this kind of latitude too? Or is the program run corporately (BMW USA) so the money essentially disappears on the expiration date?
