Acceleration at Low-Speed Issue
Hello, I just bought a 2013 certified 328i with 25,000 miles and I love everything about it, except one issue has really been bugging me. When accelerating at low speeds (under 10 mph), when removing my foot off the gas pedal, the car jerks forward. For example, I'm at a stop and I lightly push down on the gas pedal then release it before hitting 10 mph, one second later the car kicks forward suddenly. Its as if it is shifting but rather roughly. It only happens when I remove my foot off the pedal, otherwise it shifts smoothly if I keep my foot on the throttle. This only happens in comfort and eco mode. I tested a couple other similar 328i's and they do not seem to have this issue. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so what was the issue? Even though there are no lights or errors flashing showing up on the car's computer, is this something BMW will fix for me if I take it in and show them the problem? I have a feeling the car may just need a software update for the transmission (possibly shifting at the wrong time), or the fuel line may be slightly clogged. Any input is greatly appreciated!
