BMW ALPINA D4 BITURBO Coupé vs BMW M135i

For those who can not decide
M Performance vs ALPINA

BMW M135i chasing the mighty BMW ALPINA D4 BITURBO on the german autobahn. In terms of pure acceleration the M135i shows its strength whereas the Alpina shines in top speed and brutal torque.

Draw - Surprisingly... (in my eyes and in this specific situation)

Head to Head:
BMW M135i (Automatic): 2979 cc R6 turbo (N55B30)
Weight: 1515 kg / 3340 lb
Max output: 235 kW / 316 bhp
Weight to Power ratio: 10.76 lb/bhp
Max torque: 450 Nm
Sprint 0-62mph: 4.9 s
Top speed: 155 mph (limited)

BMW ALPINA D4 BITURBO Coupé: 2993 cc R6 biturbo (I think)
Weight: 1655 kg / 3649 lb
Max output: 257 kW / 345 bhp
Weight to Power ratio: 10.58 lb/bhp
Max torque: 700 Nm
Sprint 0-62 mph: 4.6 s
Top speed: 173 mph

Both lovely cars but I'd take an Alpina over an M Performance model any day of the week ... If money were no object of course

Kudos to the 135i, but if that had been an open road and no traffic to contend with Alpina could have left it. (Damn X6s )

So you basically should have the sleeper version of the ALPINA D4
