Quite a few people would buy this EXACT car. Many people, like me, probably won't if the alcantara isn't at least a Priority 1 option.

ps Have you looked at used E46 ZHP/alcantara resale values.

Better options for Europe in this moment for this great car
I think that if there is enough demand for the 328i there are chances to see the 335i available for US market too
Looks awesome with M Sport!

Gorgeous car! Love the steering wheel lock and design, but I do wish they would've kept the cruise control on the stalk where it used to be. The chrome and button layout on the side stalks doesn't work.

That's small sh** though. Overall, this is a home run.

Msport cars in Europe carry like a 3-4k premium over non msport cars, so the option itself holds value pretty well - at least to my very rough estimate. And I bet it also helps to sell the car to an enthusiast - who in turn is always ready to pay higher price I think.

The numbers agree with that, non-ZHPs sell for several grand less. As much as I love ZHPs (a 6MT sedan would be perfect), I cannot get myself to pay $20,000 for a 7 year old BMW without an M badge.

Uh... I only paid $28k for mine when it was 3 years old, CPO'd, if someone is asking $20, they are NUTS!

You should be able to pick one up for $15k or less, but the miles are getting up on them, I'm at 114k on mine, but I've decided to keep it forever. I've had it for 6+ years and I'm still not tired of driving it...

I've seen dozens of cars from $17,500 to $19,000 for an 2005 with decent miles. Since 2-3 years ago, used car prices have gone UP. If I had bought an E55 AMG with 50,000 miles, I could sell it now with 70,000 miles for $1,000-2,000 more than I bought it for.

06-08 Gallardos used to be flooding the market at $80,000, and now they are unable to find under $100,000.

Yup. This car is absolute sex. Throw a stick in it, and I'll find a way to buy it, whatever it costs. It's EXACTLY what I want. I'd even settle for the N20, as long as it had a stick.

No twin exhaust on a 330d? A bit weird, as are the fishnets on the seats, kinda what you would see in a strip bar LOL
