As for the Merino leather - I was a little nervous because of the white piping - while I would not say the piping makes the seats look better - it isn't a negative as I worried it might be and with the Merino for the first time I feel like I have leather seats. If you are ordering and have a chance, please try sitting in a car with Merino seats/dash in person before ordering (M3/4 might be your only option as the individual merino on the normal 3/4 is rare to find) - the leather dash makes a much bigger difference than the cost (as a %); leather dash was 3% of the cost of the car but makes the interior 100% better if such math is possible.

Congrats. Leather on dashboard looks fantastic...

428i should be a very rare in (South) Belgium considering the +5000 Euro tax to get it on the road (...or are you putting it on Luxembourg plates? ). I like the dual exhaust pipe on one side on the 428i, looks better to me than the pipe on both side of the 435i.

It is very expensive indeed.... plus it is a company car lease, so i have to pay extra taxes

5000 € ( starting tax ) to start using my car
+ 400 € / year ( normal tax )
+ 430 € / MONTH ! (company car tax)

I was aiming for the 435i but i couldnt stand givin so much money to our fucking government just to have the right to drive my car on their potholes

I like the dual exhaust too ... Of course my favorite would be a dual exhaust on each side /////Mmmm !

Its raining like crazy here in Belgium so it is not the best first day of drivin'...
Anyway i got some first impressions:

- fast car but hard to feel the speed

- interesting noise for a 4 banger but i am waiting for a performance exhaust to be installed next week because it really needs it.

- much refined luxury than my e92, very good sound insulation

- suspension is WAAAAAY too soft even in sport+. Maybe i got to wait the
breakin period to be over but if it remains like that i wont stand it and i will need some H&R ore somethin

- awesome feel of the merino finegrain leather !!

- LED lights are gorgeous

As SRB said I would also seriously suggest if your are considering the upgrade or even just buying a 4/3 series sit in a car with full merino leather as the difference is huge. The photos just don't do it justice.
