BlackGnosis: Sorry bro, been kind of stuck at work lately. Kidding..hehe..not at work, but at the car shop every single day. Anyway, reflash is awesome! Total remap the ecu. First of all, you get to remap the throttle control. So now the car feels more snappier. You can feel the turbo kicks in at 1500rpm. At medium rpm the car just fly. Now the bad news is the higher rpm, not as much as the lower and middle rpm. They said you might blown the engine up if you do fully boost on higher rpm. So that's the difference between JB4 and reflash. Reflash are good for low and medium rpm, and JB4 are good for high rpm. As for the intake, not so much. Loosing so much torque at low rpm and mid rpm and only gains a little at higher rpm. Any intakes will do you no good, stay away.

Was thinking to go for gruppe m air intake, but if it is not so critical,i would rather go for a replacement. Then reflash to come ! |

Are intakes in general not too good for hot environments? Was thinking about one but not sure how it'll do in the weather I get in HK (and your weather too lol)

Icy J: Yes, intake in general not good. Maybe in Alaska with cold weather. Actually, in Hong kong in winter is good. But not here in Jakarta. 34 Celsius all the time. The engine just suck all the hot air. Not good. However, sounds awesome though. Really cool sound with open air intake

It's an extreme agressive offset. Rear are 10.5 inch wide and 43 offset. It rubs pretty bad. So, what I did was fully max the setting for the KW coilover and max the chamber of the car (-3 negative offset). 275/30/20 is the max tires. I tried 285/30/20 and it just shredded the rubbers really bad

Yeah, 10,5 inch wide is definitely for F10 spec. No way for F30, unless you don't care about rubbing.
Here's my car with 9,5 inch/offset 35. Tires are 255/35/19. Maximum tires are 265/30/19. Last edited by vortechvr6; 04-25-2017 at 09:25 PM.. |
