I have had good luck at langley bmw... just remember you MUST take control of the sale, do not let the salesman control the conversation, Its your money and you don't really need to purchase from that dealership, BUT the salesman NEEDS to sell the car.. sometimes it helps to remind them of this..lol...

New member, as well.

Currently in the process of looking for a BMW. Just wanted to share a similar experience. Was in contact with a dealer in Edmonton regarding one of their cars. IMO made a more than reasonable offer, but they wouldn't budge on what I felt was an unreasonable price. So I moved on. I think there are some cars that the dealer simply don't want to sell that bad.

From recent personal experience I have found Calgary dealers to be almost totally unwilling to discount vehicles. They give some nonsense line about only being able to give $500-$1,000 off and wont budge. Edmonton dealers are quite a bit better, but overall I have found the best deals are from Vancouver (my 340 and a buddies recent X5 purchase). Guessing the Vancouver guys sell higher volumes so they don't have to nickel and dime as much on each deal?

I offered another $200 and they took it. The advice I can give to others is just be patient and remember its all a game. Don't get stressed out unnecessarily.
