You must be cooking your chicken way to long, if it's turning out this way. What time and temp do you usually cook it at in the oven?

I've been trying to eat more lean meats (i.e. chicken breasts) and I end up essentially pan frying them in some olive oil and they always turn out tough and bleh. I've also tried roasted chicken (just straight up oven roasting) and it turns out tough and dry.

Does chicken benefit from crock pot cooking (like, is the meat super tender)? I might try that next...
I can barely fry an egg, but my gf cooks chicken in the pressure cooker and comes out great, juicy and fast. She makes all kinds of stuff in that thing. She made a pork loin for new years that would of taken hours in the oven (of course next day she made another in the oven for good measure).

me, I ate the whole freaking thing lol.

if we would have eaten immediately after pulling it from the crockpot, I'm sure it would have tasted amazing...

but I heated it up in the microwave for lunch, so it made everything taste like a prison meal.....

went to Jason's Deli again - and no, I didn't ask for a "to-go" cup and dump ice cream in it HAHA !!!!

salad
sunflower seeds
pickle
peas
tomatoes
hard boiled egg
pasta with peas and olives
pasta with onions and cucumbers
potato salad
LESS THAN AN OUNCE of reduced sodium Lite Ranch
80% water mixed with 20% lemonade
no bacon bits
no cheese

last week, I would have had a plate full of bacon bits with 5oz of ranch and croutons falling off the plate....and I would have taken my to go cup full of ice cream HAHA !!!!

3 days in and I was seeing results - seriously.

it sounds stupid, but I'm being for real.

I knew that once I started seeing results, I was going to get even more geeked to be on and stay on this diet

anyways, this was dinner last night. got lazy last night so I had to post this morning...

salmon and asparagus.

good job! adding exercising has lots of positive effects too.

I think youre cooking your salmon too long. theres a lot of white albumin around the fillets

and man, your pees must have really smelled afterwards lol

because my thread, my rules lol.

I said in the very first post that you didn't have to post world class meals

anything goes - from junk food, to world class steaks/seafood dinners to candy to all kinds of garbage that you put in your mouth...

it's a fun thread getting lots of run

I'm just giving ya shit after that last to go cup picture. Good on you for the results, I know that as soon as I start to see results it makes all the other crap worth it.

That meal looks great, though as others have said slightly overcooked. Not going to kill ya, but won't be the same as when perfectly cooked texture wise.

It's the b vitamins in the asparagus that cause this piss stink. If you take any kind of supplement that high in say B12 you will see the same effect.

Here is a pic of a pie I made for thanksgiving. Cooked the pumpkins myself. Fuck cans.

My family's traditional crusted beef tenderloin on Christmas.

And some chili I made for dinner yesterday.

Haha thanks! That was the end result of the last picture, my mom is crusting the tenderloin. I let her do the meat. I was on the potatoes.
