Back on the forum

Not sure if any one remembers but I left the f3x crowd in Jan to join the 640d GC club. Fast forward to today and the six will shortly be going and I'll be taking delivery of a brand new 435d GC. The 6er had a vibration issue that the dealer after 4 visits can't seem to fix. I was going down the road of trying to reject the car but luckily they have agreed to buy the car back from me at the price I payed as long as I purchased another car from them. Just posted on the 6er forum this;

So the dealer has confirmed there's an issue, no suppresses there! The 640d is going back to the dealer and they have found a brand new unregistered 435d GC with all the options I wanted and more. Car is over £51k list price but obviously I'm not paying anywhere near that although my monthly payment has gone up a little but I'm ok with this as I'm getting a brand new car. It's such a shame about the 640d as it is a beautiful car inside and out but iv lost confidence in it so a new car was the best way to go in my situation. The 435d is no 6 series but still a great car in my opinion!

The biggest difference will be the reduction in refinement, shame you can't get a deal on a G30

It was a vibration/resonance felt mostly at speed through the whole car not the steering wheel. Also the ride was terrible at all speeds almost as if the car had scuttle shake.

Haha cheers buddy. The screen upgrade is such a good mod I feel it really uplifts the interior.

In many ways it seems a shame and in others there at least appears to be a sliver lining of sorts. So welcome back!

I must thank you for the gloss black radio trim. Really has lifted the interior vs. the dull old one
