Opti-Coat Applications

Wanted everyone to share their experience with opti-coat, specifically what you have put it on (other than the cars paint).

I pick my car up on saturday, I am going to opticoat it myself. I am thinking about opticoating the bipilars, since opticoat is so hard perhaps it will prevent scratches on them.

Has anyone opticoated other parts of their car? I almost want to attempt coating the exhaust tips and see if it helps prevent caking of soot. If if doesn't work I don't think it can hurt the tip in any way.

Opinions, experiences?

lol, not good, but note really worth it for the front, but great for rear and sides as I think the wiper blades will wear them out eventually..

I didnt do it myself, got a detailer to do it (with a opticoat staff advising him). That said, I did opticoat my shower glass panels, and they bead water like a champ now

Nice,

I withheld from doing the glass. I did everything else though. Headlights worked out perfectly. I will get a taste of the beading action once I wash it this week!
