Anyone have rear seat covers from weathertech for infant?

Baby on the way!

Car seat on the way!

But I'm sure in the next few years there will be accidents, crumbs, etc.

What do people use to protect their leather seats from both the car seat and the infant itself?

Has anyone tried the WeatherTech rear seat cover?

I haven't used that yet. I have the floor and trunk mats though. I have them in all my vehicles. I wish I had them when my boys were small. Had a kool aid stain that never came out on one of my cars.

As far as car seats, I like Recaro. They are pretty adaptable to all stages of growth.

Congrats on the baby!!

Seems like overkill to me. Been through that 2x with leather seats; crumbs and spills clean up effortlessly with a damp rag with dish soap. I had a couple of $15 mats under the base of the car seats from Target.

Congrats and good luck!

Definitely a good idea to put something under the car seat. After a 3 year lease our seats had marks and indentations that could not be cleaned up and the lease evaluator made it clear he was giving me a "break" by not making me pay for a new seat!

I use something similar to this and it does a great job preventing indentations/marks on the leather. Crumbs and small milk spills wipe up no problem. You will be fine, its actually a great car for kids.

I use the Clek Mat-Thingy $40 on Amazon when hauling my niece and nephew around in the wagon. I actually stopped to show my dealer one day, he buys them for a gift to clients with kids who lease from him now. There is literally no way to fix the seat once it gets jacked up.

Once the kids are kicking the kick at for the back of the front seats is also a must.

really pricey, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my BMW branded back seat cover (Note: Although designed for E90 3 series, the cover fits perfectly in F30 sedan rear seat).

Completely protects the entire back seat, including interior doors and rear of front seats.

It is a BMW product, so it isn't cheap, but it totally protects my car from my dog's saliva and nails. Great product.

Similar to others I just put something under the car seats to avoid indentation marks and purchased the weather-tech floor mats (in sunny CA).

I haven't had any spills that a little all purpose cleaner and a leather brush couldn't clean up pretty quickly.

I have a 6 year old and a 4 year old and my E90 is 10 years old. All I had was a $20 seat protector under the car seat and rubber floor mats. After for a total of 10 baby/child/toddler years of abuse, the leather has stood up like a champ. I just sold my e90 this weekend & all I had to do was wipe down with a damp cloth and the seat looked as good as new. These cars do an amazing job of standing up to years of abuse.

I bought two black bath towels from Target and put them under both car seats my leather is perfect underneath. Even with spills and lots of crushed goldfish and cookie crumbs just shake them out wash put back in. 2 and 5 little boys. Now if I can just figure out how to keep both of their windows clean inside

I wouldn't bother. The leather cleans up nicely. Just haul the seat out every couple of weeks, wipe down the leather, give it a good shop-vac treatment and you'll be fine.

I remember, heading into parenthood, taking all kinds of steps to keep my/my wife's cars clean. Kids are just incredibly dirty. Not much you can do to prevent it.
