I just priced out my 335i ED and got an offer of $500 over invoice. No loyalty discount since I'm coming from an A4 but what is this additional $1000 bonus you speak of?
BMWFS is giving a $1000 credit right now for Lease / Finance on new F30s. So that's what I'm talking about. I think it's on BMW's website. On an update, my local dealership (who I wasn't expecting to do anything) told me that they couldn't lock in the MF & Incentives if I want delivery in july. He said after 60 days, BMWFS considers the application invalid and I would have to apply again. But he did agree to the $500 over invoice (less any incentives that could be going on in April). He told me I should order it in April. My only concern is that I feel this dealership might be inexperienced with the ED. Bill R. from Kelly BMW in Columbus says he's done quite a bit, but he clearly stated if I wanted $500 over invoice, he's just not interested. He also said that he would have to order the car this month to ensure my preferred delivery date (I was already heading to EU in July). I just have to clarify with him if he will include any incentives in April, or is this going to be the bottom line price. Local dealership said, he will do the ED invoice + $500 (less any incentives). Of course at the time of signing (in July probably) if there are better incentives they get applied too.

Which direction should I be leaning towards?

Edit: Kelly has mentioned a price of $45450, which is I'm guessing about $400 more than what my local BMW Dealer has offered...

Hey ssedha I can't seem to find the BMW FS deal you're talking about on the website. Where did you get this info from? If it's true, I would like to bring it to the attention of my CA so I can get that $1000 credit on top since I will be financing through BMW FS.

Also I just heard back from my CA who is now telling me that if I take delivery in May (which I planned to) I could order MY 2014 for an additional $300-$500 since they will then be in production. Anyone have any information on the validity of this? I don't know if he's tryin to jerk me and recoup the loss when he offered me invoice + $500.

2013 AH3

MSRP – 61070 (Invoice - 56750) (Residual – 37252.7 @ 61%) for 10k/36month
Sale Price – 53500 (includes $3500 credit)
Lease protection – 1295 (rolled into payment)
Downpayment – 3000
first month (570)+ Fees (561) + Acq fee (925) + tax (414) – $1000 rebate = 4470
M.F – 0.0017 (Dealer would not budge with the markup).
Monthly payment – $570.

Looks like a good deal to me?

I think thats a great deal. I just went through AH3 training yesterday. For what I learned about the car, what it can do, what it can do for you, I think thats a fair price.

This is from the Sales & Program section of bmwusa.com. Click Lease Offers, then click 335i.

Well-equipped including features such as Premium Package (Leather, Comfort Access, Satellite Radio), Automatic Transmission, Moonroof, Xenon Headlights, iPod/USB Adapter, Bluetooth and Destination charges.
$389*/month for 36 months. $1,000 Lease/APR Credit and $750 Loyalty Cash included in payment.
• $389 First months payment
• $3,000 Down payment
• $0 Security Deposit
• $725 Acquisition fee
• $4,114 Cash due at signing

The $1000 I mention is the $1000 Lease/APR Credit.

BTW, I'm not too sure about the MY14. If that's the case, I plan on ordering one soon (with a ED plan of July). For an extra $300, I would definitely go with the MY14. But am not sure how much of that is actually true!

BTW, here is what I've been told so far (some of it doesn't make sense to me, so hopefully one of you can chip in and make it clear to me)

2013 BMW 335i
Alpine White
Black Leatherette
Aluminum Hexagon interior trim
Sport Automatic transmission with shift paddles
Heated front seats
Harmon Kardon surround sound system
All season tires
Destination & Handling

Total MSRP: $49,120

I'm going to be doing a ED, so the quoted price is:
Selling Price: $43300
Loyalty Bonus $750 (used as downpayment)
MF: .00130
Residual: 60% of $49120 (29,472)
36 Months
12k a year
First Month + Tax on $750 + Tags due at Delivery
Monthly Payment: $515.79

Is this a good deal guys? I'd ideally like the 15k miles a year. So will probably put some money down. Any other place where I can essentially negotiate?

The thing that confuses me is the deal listed above. $389 a month, based on a $4114 Cash due at signing is based on a car that has an MSRP of: $46,245.

My car's selling price is $43300 and yet it is nowhere near the advertised price. The difference is $2,945.

Any thoughts?

Ahh ok, so this deal is a lease offer. I think your original post said it was for lease/finance.

I guess I'll keep you posted after I sign paperwork with my CA. I'm sure it will say somewhere that my order is for a MY 2014 instead of 2013. If this is the case I'd be that much more satisfied as my resale value (if and when I sell) would be slightly higher than had it been a 2013

MY2014 won't start until July, so you won't be doing any deals on such a car until right before then.

It actually says $1000 Lease / APR. Correct me if I'm wrong, but to me it feels like it applies to BOTH Lease & Finance

The deal I'm getting is this:

$300 above invoice
-$1,000 lease incentive
-$750 loyalty incentive

Does that look good to everyone?

Sorry, I went to bmwusa to verify and you're right, there are 2 separate tabs. One for finance and the other for lease. The fine print reads, however,

"Qualified customers only. Available at participating BMW centers through BMW Financial Services NA, LLC. Applies only to specific models and only for specific model years. 3.19% APR for 36 months available through February 28, 2013. $29.17 per $1,000. Also available, 3.19% APR for 37-60 months. Lease/APR Credit is a $1,000 credit against the MSRP of the loan or lease on a 335i Sedan through February 28, 2013. Loyalty Cash is a $750 credit against the MSRP of the loan or lease on a 335i Sedan through February 28, 2013. $750 Loyalty Cash available for returning BMW customers only."

I can see the dealership saying 1 of 2 things...

1. "This offer clearly states that the $1000 is off the MSRP and since I'm getting the invoice price, the $1000 credit will not be applied."

or

2. "I'm sorry this offer says to "qualified customers only" and you have not qualified." At which point I'd have no way of proving that I'm qualified (nor can they prove I'm not).

And the differnce between his and your is what? $5 or $10 a mont on a 36 month lease? Who cares??? His deal is good and yours is a litte better but so what? People get so caught up in saving so little money it's just not worth it to me.

I will make so much more money in the next 3 years of my lease that it's an after thought.

They haven't factored in this deal yet; at least not to my knowledge and not with acknowledgement from my CA. I submitted my credit app yesterday, I guess I'll ask for this $1000 credit when they approve me (considering they don't tell me first).

That's why every human being is different. You decided to pay extra bucks because it's not worth your time but it doesn't hurt to push it. It only takes an e-mail or a phone call to find out the answer (yes or no).

Getting $400 over invoice offer for a nearly fully loaded 335i xDrive 6MT through Manhattan BMW. $725 Acquisition Fee, $75 Document Fee, $10.00 inspection fee and $12.50 tire tax. There is also a tax on the $1,000 rebate. Training is $180 and MACO is $300 (but they are included in the "Invoice" price). $1,000 rebate through BMWFS.

Question - the $1,000 rebate should be applied to the drive off cash, correct? It should NOT be subtracted from the selling price of the car, correct? Wouldn't end up yielding a full $1,000 savings if it were just applied to reduce the selling price.

Sure.....why not. I guess it depends on the situation.

In my resent situation this dealer found me a car so I didn't have to wait three more months to get a car that I had already ordered. order. I had $1,000 BMW and $1,000 USAA which was used to reduce the capitalized cost of the car.

I was grateful for them finding me an even better car than the obe I ordered so I didn't push it in this situation because they did me a favor for which I was happy. Could I have got another $5 or $10 or whatever more off my lease...sure. In this case, it didn't matter.

Believe me, I don't knock people for trying to get the best price possible but for me it generally involves way more time than I'm willing to commit. We'll all be enjoying our cars and in a few weeks or months what we paid for it is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

I would love to get close to invoice on an F30. I am looking to lease a 2013 328i manual with Sport or M Sport package. No sure of the color or options, but I know I need 17K miles per year. If I go with a 328i Sport with red paint, sunroof and heated seats the invoice price is $38,660. What's a good price for this car? I was thinking $500 over invoice? What would a lease payment be with zero down? If I add the M Sport package I could live without a sunroof and heated seats. Invoice would be $38,480. Do the Sport and M Sport packages change the residuals? So what I really need is help with the 36 month 17K residual, and the money factor for PA with top tier credit?? Thanks in advance for any help. Really looking forward to getting back into a BMW after 10 years driving other marques.
