m sport and sport
is there any difference between the 2 suspension wise? I've got a f30 2012 and the ride seems very harsh but I've had a f30 and f31 albeit 16 plate and the ride seems a lot smoother in both.
I first put it down to run flats but both the 16 plates have them as well. |

Sport has regular suspension and M Sport has the upgraded stiffened M-Sport suspension. LCI models regular suspension is firmer with better control than pre-LCI. I find the regular LCI suspension just about stiff enough for me, although many prefer a much harder ride.

It's a M Sport thing. However, suspension was revised at the LCI model (facelift).

Also you may want to check the spec of your Sport model as you can specify M Sport suspension as an option (not sure if you had it from new to know this) - wheel size will have an impact when comparing - e.g. if you are on 20" wheels and the cars you are testing are 18"... Both M Sport & M Sport plus are the same suspension wise - M Sport plus comes as standard with 19" wheels where M Sport is 18"...
