Any dealer can tell how price-lock works for custom order?

Maybe this is answered already.

I ordered a car in August and waiting for delivery, car is at the port and probably can stretch into November to see what new incentives come.
I am locked into the no incentives in August, but a good MF and residual. October has been slightly better with lockable loyalty incentives.

Now if things go south in November, can I still use the best rate from August or September or October?
Ofcourse I cannot mix and match.

Can I use FULL September Program OR FULL October Program when I sign lease in November?

Thanks again for any info!

In most cases, rate-locks are for MF and residual only. The credits and allowances usually require you to take delivery by the end of that month's program, so they dont carry over like MF and residuals.

Rate-locks are also valid 90 days, if you take delivery outside that range you need to submit another credit app to use that month's rates and incentives.

Unfortunately does not address my question. I know all that you are saying and appreciate your reply!

Btw, some incentives are lockable as advertised by BMW and those DO carry over.

Still looking for the real answer on whether it's time or order and time of delivery programs only or ANYTHING in the middle if used in its entirety.

You can't mix and match whatever goes on between order and delivery. I'm your case you can pick August (whatever was lockable not counting loyalty etc) or Nov.
