OTA update out.

Esteemed Gentlemen,

Heads up...

My car started downloading the ' Over the Air ' update this afternoon for maps. Not sure on version though because not complete yet.

However, I only did the USB update recently from website so not sure if anything has changed

Mine did it a couple of weeks ago, but the 4GC loan car did it a couple of days ago. Both updated from UK 2016-2 to 2016-4

Dunno what happened to 2016-3 though!

Just taken delivery of my f31 this morning and the OTA update was downloading by 4pm

Do they still charge hundreds for updated maps for people without the 4G iDrive?

Yes.

But you can DIY for free.

No, unfortunately not. You just have to wait until it decides the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with mars.
