Awesome! Congrats! My car is non-VSS (non-DHP) and I received the update as well. Subtle change in steering parameters, but huge improvement in steering feel.

My car is at BMW now. They say they can't find the update I'm referring and I saw them trying on the computer to find it. Does anyone have any more specific information I can provide them?

Did the numbers for the integration level numbers that you posted above come from the reading on your key at the dealer and do they appear on your service invoice? Thanks.

The invoice does not have the integration level printed, it says "performed programming recall 122113 program all control units. programming successful". Obviously it is unclear if BMW specifically improves the steering, or if it is a by-product of re-programming of other(unrelated) control units.

My car (2013 328xi (4/13 build) non VSS non DHP at the dealer (Schomp BMW/Denver) now too for scheduled oil service/ASS reprogram & brake recall. I'll report back on whether steering feels different or not. I didn't mention it to the SA.

I believe it is because the vehicle needs to "learn" your driving style again AND/OR the battery was discharged quite a bit from the programming. Give it a day or two (or a loooooong drive) and it should be up and working again |

Took the AH3 in for annual oil change ...still no bulletins that apply to my AH3, so a no go on the software reflash. Very frustrating.

After having my car back for a couple of days, I definitely DO feel a difference in the steering, especially in Sport mode. (I don't have Sport+). It's perceptibly heavier, at lower speeds. Also, in Sport mode, the throttle seems just a tad less touchy and the car seems to shift a bit sooner than before. Don't know if that's a result of a reset of the adaptive transmission or not. In comfort mode I don't notice a perceptible difference.
They did oil service, reset the ASS to remember the last setting (which also resulted in a bit smoother start/stop), two recalls and wiper blades. There's no notation of a specific integration level/software update on the invoice however. |

To anyone who has had this software update: Is it just the feel of the steering that is improved, or does the turning radius improve as well?
