MPPK Still Working?? non tech pkg car

I recently went in for a new "SRS" 'command module' and after getting my car back from the dealer it seems less powerful. I had to reprogram all of the radio buttons, measurement units, and seat settings. How do I verify that the MPPK is still active and working?

I'm worried that it may have been lost with the module update.

I do not have the tech package and thus no torque meter on my nav screen.

Don't worry, I had that happen on my F30 as well. It's coded to the VIN when the dealer is working on or looking up the car they know it's an MPPK car.

If you're truly worried, just give them a ring and ask them to verify.

I think that your suggestion would only confirm that it is registered with BMW (in their database) as an MPPK-equipped car. I think that the OP is concerned that his programing has been over-ridden. In other word was MPPK, but is no longer. Please see my similar thread in the N55 section.

If they reset everything it might just be the reset of that adaptive tranny if you have an automatic.

Have your dealer "read" your car and give you a printout of everything coded in your vehicle. If you see NPOW, you have MPPK. I had the same dilemma (no sport gauges) and wanted to know if it was really on there....

I'll try to do that I guess. Wish we had a better way at home
