Just a silly question but can the beep for PDC system can be changed/ coded to the newer type which is more bong bong rather than beep beep

I know you can change the seatbelt bong, I would imagine you can probably do the PDC one too.

I wasn't aware of that as I said it was just out of boredom

With E-sys, you can code various interior beeps and gongs including PDC. It gives you the option of any BMW Group type; BMW, Mini or Rolls Royce. I set mine to RR but its too subtle so will change it back to the more attention getting 'Achtung BONG!' standard BMW sound as opposed to the 'excuse me sir, there appears to be an obstruction' chime of the RR sound.

The novelty factor of telling people who sit in the car that it 'has RR chimes' wears off when you nearly run in to small bollard/child/cow/large building numerous times due to its Denholm Elliot manner..... The standard BMW 'Obersturmbahnfurher' sounds actually work. Just trying to work out if I can code in the obligatory heel click at the end of it
