It'll be stupid loud and make your car smell like gas fumes but it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to remove the entire exhaust post-downpipe, if that's what you're aiming for.

Not sure if that will be good for the engine/turbos... someone here claimed that he did a muffler delete and it killed his turbo which he had to pay out of pocket as warranty would not cover it..

that just sounds like someone was not very smart. At that point, you just throw on your stock exhaust and tell BMW the turbo died for no reason
