Car at the Halifax Port since, at least 10 days...

I'm waiting, painfully, my F32 (May built). I called the 1-800 BMW Canada number and the car was in in Halifax port since 10 days now.

Is this normal and usual that it was so long from the port to the dealer ? It's a 12 hours travel between them !??!!

if you have your vin check on W&W's website tracking. It's probably held by customs.

Talked to my dealer today...they tell me they have transportations problems.

Usualy they use train but, and I don't know why, they can't use trains for now...And they are unable to book road truck (WTF)

They tell me that could take one, two or three weeks more

I'm buying material & equipment for my company and I have already had delays bound with the transport but never for this sort of time !

And I I am not BMW ! That really amateur ! My holidays begun in 10 days. There I am disappointed and annoyed by the delay... In 10 days if I have to begin my holidays without car there is going to have a real problem...

Am I Alone in this situation here ?

hey i was with you in that same situation. i was supposed to get a 2 series but my date got pushed back to weeks in plant and then they mentioned the rails would be another 2 to 3 week delay (order car in april wasnt going to get till september). went in complaining as the broke there contract with me(two weeks ago).. as im complaining a 4 series was coming off a truck had everything i wanted and more. only paid a bit more for the 4 so i took it. and never been happier with my choice.. hope all works out for you

Hi!

I have heard the Halifax port is very back logged due to CN rail car supply issues. Still catching up from the bad winter.

My Euro Delivery 435i sat at the port for 7 days (including port installation MPE and MPPK) before it was loaded on a train for Vancouver. That was with ED priority!

I did hear that they were starting to truck cars for closer locations on the east coast.

Ask your dealer. He should be able to pull that up. Also, if you know your VIN, you can try putting it in the track and trace on the WW website. If it is being shipped by them, it will show which ship.

Mine was shipped on the KLine which does not provide as much info as WW. Had to get ship name from CA.

Dealer said now & always the same song: transportations problems...car still in their facility at the Halifax Port...

Vacancy start in 10 days + July end in 20...delivering in august = order cancel.

I paid full MSRP - 1000$ for a MY2014. In august, MY2015 start to enter dealers. If no car in July I will buy a stock 2014 with a big rebate or order MY2015.

I fu.... hate delays

I'm an organized an structured person...it's start very badly my first BMW experience...

Received THE call !

Car delivered at the dealer today ! Will take it monday PM to let them install M performance discs brakes and pedals + PSS tires.

Alpine white / coral red
8 a/t, M sport, M performance I & II
M performance discs brakes
M performance pedals
RFT out Michelin PSS in !

Whouhouuu !

Only parts missed: M performance rear diffuser (B/O here in Canada...I'm unable to find one...let me know if you know where I can find it !)
