You did a great job on the interior upgrade.

Looks great. I really like the additional materials around the shifter - that area is one of the more blatantly plastic parts of the interior that could use new materials.

i like that to and keep in mind its real carbon around the shifter and i can provide with links if anyone wants the same its a cover with 3m tape very easy install and the alcantara is cery very easy to work with if you are a perfectionist like me haha. there is a trim around the dash to with real carbon with 3m tape and on the light panel its the same and ofcourse on the handles its wrap to.

not that much really i bought extra alcantara if i would screw things up but you ca get it much cheaper and i can provide with links to all the stuff i bought and they fit 98%...all in all the real carbon with 3m costs 40$ and are direct fit, the carbon wrap was 15$ (were i live), the alcantara was 60$ all with shipping to sweden but the alcantara i bought extra i could wrap my entire interior with it haha so you can get it much cheaper.

Does this trim have any clear coating on it or can you feel the carbon fiber directly?

Also, did you look into using the F80 M3 dashboard piece instead of the M performance piece?

Lastly, I personally think the stock metal look shifter is the way to go. the CF seems a bit busy for that part in my eyes

hi the real carbon has a protective coating on it...the rest os wraping glossy carbon....the real carbon is on the radio trims were there is black and its a real carbon cover..around the shifter is real carbon cover and alcantara....on the shifter level its wrap....were you change your lights the panel is real carbon cover too...and no f80 dash board pieces its the same but i used my f36 dashborad brushed aliminum
