Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience with using leatherique. When I first bought my car I noticed the seats were a little worn and faded, and that my steering wheel was extremely shiny. After about a year or so my leather continued to get in worse and worse condition until I finally did some research and found leatherique. You essentially just rub the rejuvenating oil all over your leather and let sit for a few days reapplying when necessary. Then you just remove the oil and WOW my leather looks 100% better. The picture order is messed up because I'm posting on my phone but first I tire is seat after treatment, second is before, and third is steering wheel after treatment.

You just needed to clean them. The Dakota leather is sealed so the oil does not penetrate. Just the pristine clean is all you needed. The oil is only useful on open grain leathers ( i.e. Merino, my leather couch, etc). Glad you were able to get the shine off though, I agree it is quite off putting. Leatherique is good stuff.
