I was wondering what is everyone avg MPG on a 435i. Sticker says 20 C and 31 H with averge of 24. I almost always 16. With a lifetime high of 19.Took her in yesterday and the dealer found nothing wrong. My 99 Acura gets bether mileage. Does my #'s seem right?
Engine mods are MPPK/MPE/CP/Dinan Air Intake

Sounds right. You drive a performance sedan with engine/intake/exhaust mods. I assume you drive mostly in sport mode?

I'm guessing you drive mostly city. Only way to tell if there's a problem is to go out early Sunday morning, reset the mpg computer just before you get on a freeway and set the cruise control for 60 mph. If, after 60 miles or so you're sitting at 30 mpg or so, the car is good and it's your foot that is bad.

An average of 16 seems a bit low. Even with FBO, running E30, and driving in sport 95% of the time, I average 21. My RT commute consist of 30min city and 20min highway with some stop/go.

16mpg is a little low but not extraordinarily so.... i would expect around 18mpg to be the average for most big city dwellers.

My experience with BMW turbos (and really any modern turbo charged car) is that the posted MPG ratings are only achievable by Grandmas or long open highway trips.

Also, my experience is that the BMW on board mpg info is usually "optimistic."

I always reset my trip computer every time i get gas and manually calculate the mpg. Usually my calculations are 1-2mpg lower than the computers

In comparison best I ever got for same driving in my 09 E92 328ix was 19mpg

I average 12.7-12.8 L/100km which converts to about 18.3 mpg with 65% city and 35% hwy.

14 mpg city and 29 hwy is what i get.

Plus mine is a xdrive which weights more and has more drivetrain loss. So if yours is rwd, it sounds about right.

No issue.

Nothing is wrong with your car. My last E90 323i with 2.5L NA 6-cyl, less than 190hp, is about same mpg as my 435. I did go down your path in the past. Just going to accept the bmw 6cyl fuel economy is bad. I drove a 320i loaner last month, very good mpg though. Avg 26 mpg. But it is a piece of shit with 7+ second 0-100km/h. So go figure

I average 21-22mpg in the city and most I got on highway is 28mpg. Car is 335i 6 speed. Lowest I ever got was 18 mpg but that involved a lot of sitting in traffic and a heavy foot.
