LED Indicators not working after V59 flash, F32

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone might know what needs to be changed to make the indicators work?

Every time that I try to use them since the flash to v59 they won't work.

I had this problem before, and I never managed to sort it via ESYS myself.

I used at the time the version of Rheingold that I had since it suggested teaching in the LEDs & as soon as it did that everything was well again.

However the version of it that I have right now doesn't make that suggestion for some reason, so I am trying to get my hands on a newer version of it in case that helps, I think I used v3.50 before, and now I am on v3.52.

However I am trying to get a copy of v3.56

But if anyone knows how to sort the LEDs via ESYS that'd be amazing, as I have checked pretty much everything and can't see a problem, but it would be great to re-confirm values for a F32 with someone!

The "BMW drivers don't use indicators" jokes at work are going to be raining down on me!

Thanks in advance!!

Do you have Esys?
Then check out the values "MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_OUTPUT" and "MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_OUTPUT".
If it's off, then choose "fra_v_l" and "fra_v_r".

I'll double check those values but I am 99% sure those are already set as you specified, as I went through all those, originally RG was complaining about a mapping issue, but I can't see any problems there either.

Its driving me insane, since RG did a teach in method last time, but I don't know how to trigger that in ESYS as RG isn't offering it anymore.

You do not need Rheingold to suggest the teach in procedure (which is required after a replacement or reprogramming) in the measure plan in order to run it. Connect to the car with Rheingold as usual and then go to Vehicle management > Service function > Body > Lighting.

Yeah I tried that but it didn't help, although I just checked those values that atzebmw suggested & they were indeed set incorrectly by the looks of it !

Hopefully that resolves my problem, I'll code it when I leave work and see if it helps!

Massive thanks in case it does haha
