Need Advice on a dashcam

Need a dashcam. Was wondering if anyone can provide any insights on this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/WIFI-HD-1080...wAAOSwlfxXGHxs

It looks like this one but wayy cheaper.

http://www.kammu.com/shop/dash-cam/f...080p-g-sensor/

Looks like a clean finish but dont know about the quality.
I am open to suggestions if anyone has a small dash cam, dont need a screen as most can be paired with the phone. I understand a fuse tap would be the best mode for installing these cant seem to find any cams with 12+ hour battery life.

Thank You.

Garage List
2016 BMW 340i  [9.00]
I'm using mobius C lens for the rear and Mini 0803 for the front.
The mini 0803 battery is dying now due to summer heat. Just ordered a Joovuu X with super cap. Hope it will work well.

I honestly forgot how I did it lol. Pretty sure I used the power for the 12v underneath the radio, both my radar and cams are hooked to it.

Doubling down on Blackvue, but for a dash cam with a smart phone capability I would also suggest a Lukas Dual lens. Lukas has a battery cut off, so you won't have to worry about draining the car battery.

Hope this helps!

BMW has a dashcam called "BMW Advanced Car Eye". It is supported by BMW and won't drain you battery even when you use it to record any events while the car is turned off and parked.

I can recommend the Thinkware F770. The good thing about it is that it has an inbuilt configurable shutoff voltage controller, so it will not drain your battery in parking mode and you can configure it via the app. For the Blackvue people usually buy an external box which needs setup with dip switches.

It's not a perfect cam as mine has buttons which rattle, but that's easily fixed. Installation is easy, all of the trim pieces simply pull out and you can do it yourself. Only thing to note is that the supplied cables are too short to reach the fuse box in the trunk so you'll need to solder a few wires to extend the cable.
