Scratched ceramic coating options
Long story short a suicidal duck took aim at my car and hit my hood before flying off my windshield. This left lots of typical micro scratches going up my hood and some more pronounced deeper ones. My was ceramic coated almost a year ago.
My questions are; 1. Can you get one panel(hood and top of bumper) corrected and re-coated without it being incredibly obvious? 2. Is there a chance that scratches I can just barely feel will come out after the above? Thanks! |

You have a couple of options to fix the scratches in the ceramic coating depending on the coating you have.
You may be able to have your detailer polish them out without a reapplication of the coating. 2nd option have your detailer reapply just that panel after removing the coating (fixing all the imperfections). Either way it shouldn't be too expensive if you are using the same detailer. What coating did you go with?
