Active Sound Design (ASD) in 2014 435ix? (9/2013 production)

excuse me if this is a duplicate. tried researching this but can't find a definitive answer.

Before i rip open my trunk compartments

I understand that ASD is standard on 2014 435ix but was there a production date cut off. My car's production date is 9/2013 and i don't seem to notice the sound nor does the bimmercode app identify the ASD module.

ok - answered my own question, 435ix with a production date of 9/2013 does appear to have the parts for Active Sound Design.

bimmercode/mycarly does not find the unit so looks like i need to hook up the PC to possible reflash.

My 335 has a prod date of 1/2014 and Bimmercode doesn't see the module as well. Wonder if i have ASD...

You want ASD? It's the first thing I turned off when I started coding. I much prefer the sounds I get today in my '14 328i.

same thing i see with bimmercode - does not find it.

i have read other people have had this condition a result of a upgrade from the dealer.

personally - i would love to experience it because its much to quite in the cabin.
