Anyone with an F30 with over 100k?
I'm about to roll 100k on my 2013 N26 and I'm planning a ~12k mile road trip this summer. Has anyone had problems with their water pump or anything else that would leave me stranded? Not trying to break down 5000k miles away from home and be forced to be raped by the dealership

I've given up on caring about the mileage And Buying a car and not driving it to keep the mileage low is like not having sex to keep your girl tight for the next guy?

Yes but the way you phrased your questions was as if you had already worn out your girl and didn't want her to be totally done while on vacation with her. |

103K and just a bit of a cold start ticking but I think that has more to do with putting in heavier 5w40 instead of 5w30. But otherwise it does great.

Why would you rent a car for a road trip when you own a BMW? These are meant to be driven and there is nothing better than driving cross country in your BMW. I did it twice in my E90 335i and it was a blast.
To the OP, I'm not nearly at that distance on mine (almost at 50k). If you are worried you can always have someone do an inspection and replace anything that may need it soon. 100k service and inspection would probably be worth the cost. |

What websites do you guys get your parts from? I know my oil level sensor isn't working and I want to replace that before the trip

Full agreement here. I know it's not a F30 but I put 120k on my E90 over the 7ish years since picking it up as a low mileage CPO. It went on countless road trips and I enjoyed nearly every mile. It rarely let me down even as we got up past 100k. I'm assuming I'll be able to expect the same from the F36 I recently picked up.

I'm at 108500km ish, on a '13 328i xDrive. Everything seems to be in order, although some interior trim pieces seem to be a little finicky, and I think the passenger seat mat needs replacing because I periodically get a passenger restraint system error. In terms of powertrain, so far so good.

I'm of the opinion that it's not mileage that wears a bimmer down. It's the age, multiplied by the # cold starts + amount of stop-and-go driving, minus regular timely maintenance.

I'd boil that down simply to maintenance. Age, # of cold starts, etc will be what wears certain parts out and determine the amount and frequency of maintenance you do, but as long as you're proactively addressing things those factors shouldn't really matter.
